This tour is perfect for anyone looking to explore the most scenic corners of Kyrgyzstan in just 4 days. Since the itinerary involves long drives, we limit the group to a maximum of 4 people per vehicle to ensure a comfortable journey.
At 4:00 AM, a comfortable SUV (Nissan or Land Cruiser Prado) will pick you up directly from your hotel in Almaty. We’ll head to the Kyrgyzstan border, where after completing formalities, we’ll have breakfast at a local café.
Next, we continue towards the shore of Issyk-Kul Lake and turn off the main road to Son-Kul Lake. The route takes us through mountain passes with breathtaking views. We’ll arrive at the lake around lunchtime and check in to a yurt camp — authentic accommodation right by the lake (2 people per yurt).
In the afternoon, enjoy free time by the lake for walks, photography, and lunch. A boat ride on the lake is available upon request (additional cost).
Breakfast buffet at 7:00 AM. We continue our journey to the town of Naryn, where we stop for lunch. After lunch, we drive towards Kel-Suu Lake, arriving in the evening. Check-in at a guesthouse (double rooms included; single rooms available for an extra fee). Optional: visit the sauna for an additional cost. Evening free for walks, photography, and relaxation.
Early wake-up at 6:00 AM followed by breakfast. We embark on a trek through the Kok-Kiya Valley to Kel-Suu Lake (8 km one way). You can also ride a horse for part of the trek (additional cost).
At the lake, enjoy a short boat ride. We return to the guesthouse along the same route. In the evening, relax by the campfire, socialize, or visit the sauna (500 KGS per person).
Early morning departure back towards Almaty. As the journey is approximately 800 km, we stop in Naryn for an overnight stay at the five-star Khan Tengri Hotel.
On Day 5, after a hearty breakfast, we continue the journey and arrive back in Almaty around lunchtime.
