What’s included?

• Instructor for 5–6 hours of climbing training
• Organization of climbing insurance
• Personal climbing gear (helmet and harness)

Is it safe?

• Yes, only tested and certified equipment is used, designed to withstand heavy loads
• Instructors hold sports qualifications and provide belaying according to all safety rules

How does it work?

• You put on a helmet and harness, then are securely tied to the safety rope with a reliable knot. The instructor belays you using a special device, which prevents you from falling if you slip.

How many people can participate?

• Comfortable group size is up to 3 participants per instructor, as the instructor will belay each person in turn; larger groups may not have enough time to climb.

When can climbing be arranged?

• On any day convenient for you with good weather

Where does it take place?

• 15 minutes drive from the city
  In the Small Almaty Gorge, on the rocks near the forestry area along the road to Medeu

What to wear and what shoes?

• Wear sports clothing suitable for the season
• Footwear: hiking boots or sneakers. If no hiking boots, regular sports sneakers with a firm sole are acceptable
  Ideal option: climbing shoes

Participant Requirements:

• Suitable for all ages; children must be accompanied by adults. Weight limit: 100 kg

What you need to know:

• The admission ticket is included; no additional payment for entry is required
• Transfer to the location is not included; the guest must get there independently. But our guide is always available by phone or messenger and will always assist you.
• You choose a guide who speaks English, Spanish, Russian, French or Chinese.
